Metal Siding & Roof Options
Metal is our most popular exterior option because it’s durable, low-maintenance, and built for long-term performance. Our painted metal panels use AkzoNobel’s CERAM-A-STAR 1050 paint system, a finish designed to hold up in harsh weather and help protect your home for years to come.

Metal is our most popular choice, but it’s not the only option. If you want a more traditional look, we also offer alternative siding and roofing materials that can be used on their own or mixed with metal.
LP Siding Options
A durable painted wood-composite siding with a more traditional residential look. Available in smooth or textured finishes, and in both horizontal and vertical profiles. LP siding is paintable, so the color can be customized to fit your home.

Shingle Roof Options
Metal is standard on most of our builds. A shingle roof is the option when you want a more traditional residential look, or when you’re mixing shingles on the house with metal on a porch, garage, or shop.

Window Options
Our homes come standard with Pella windows. They’re a better window than typical builder-grade vinyl, without jumping to a custom price. Low maintenance, energy efficient, and backed by a brand that’s been making windows for more than 100 years.
Pella Window Options
We spec the Pella 250 Series. These are the styles and finishes we use most. Other options can be selected during Design.

Exterior Door Options
Entry doors are an essential part of the exterior package and not just an afterthought. We select them during the design phase to ensure that their style and finish complement the windows and siding. For our standard exterior doors, we use Dyke, while sliding doors and other specialty options are sourced from Pella.
Dyke Door Options
These are the everyday exterior doors on most of our homes — front entry, service doors, and typical hinged openings. Consider some options as you make your selections:

Garage Door Options
On a barndo, the garage door is one of the largest pieces of the elevation. A plain door disappears into the metal. The right color, window pattern, or wide-bay layout can make the shop or garage feel like part of the house instead of a leftover opening.
We spec the size and finish during Design so it works with the siding, roof, and entry — and so the header and opening are built for the door you actually want.

DoorLink offers a wide range of styles and colors, from traditional raised-panel to a cleaner modern look, so the garage door can match the rest of the home.

Stone Options
Stone is one of the best ways to tie an exterior together. A wainscot, column wrap, or entry accent gives the metal or LP a finished base and pulls the siding, roof, and trim into one look. Used in the right places, it adds warmth and weight without covering the whole house.
